Building with Josko: Realisation of a bungalow

This bungalow is both a place of retreat but also remains bright and open for the soothing view overlooking the garden. The far protruding roof with the slim columns is an architectural sun and rain protection. Here is where the family comes together to enjoy the open-air season on the patio– you are protected here even in the rain.

The clear interior furniture is very discrete so that the panoramic view is not disturbed.

Narrow hallways are ideal as private gallery– especially when the doors visually take a seat back. Thus, the door frame disappears completely in the masonry, only the door leaf and the door handle remain visible.

THE PLAY OF LIGHT AND SHADOWS

The minimalistic architecture counters the rigid design of the garden. The frameless windows and doors are the perfect expansion of the wooden cladded walls - either as lift & slide door or as all-glass system above the corner.

DESIGN SURFACES FOR THE PURISTS

Here the windows shape a large part of the façade. Whether narrow passages or broad exit into the outdoors: With the patio doors and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors all solutions are harmoniously coordinated.
